After researching, we recognized that Vietnamese market, there are two domestic suppliers for DMS which were recommended by many companies. They are DMS.One and DMSPro:

According to the above map, we can clearly recognize that Distribution Managing Systems creates a perfect information environment for business which process manufacturing and selling products. DMS has maximized full capacity of information flow and in any time anywhere, any person inside this systems can review the information with many perspectives to evaluate the current situation of business. However, between DMS One from Viettel and DMS Pro, there are some differences in functions and pricing.

Base on the comparisons in 2 tables above, DMS Pro has more useful functions and its price can be acceptable. Therefore, DMS Pro will be the better supplier for Habeco.

CONCLUSION:

In order to meet the first objective of this Business Case is building Distribution Managing System for Habeco within 6 months with $80,000 initial investiment, we had done market research, company evaluation and alternatives analysis to figure out the best choice for business; which is alternative number 5 (Using a full package of DMS from external supplier and then customizing it to meet specific demands of Habeco). Besides that, we also created implementation plan with risks and mitigations. This showed that Business Case is an important step in making decisions from HABECO’s management team and it is also the fundamental method for the next step with company; especially business planning.
